72 hours in NYC

It’s been years since I've spent time in a city as busy as New York. Lucky enough I got to spend a few days there just exploring with some of my best friends!

After hours of delayed flights (thanks American Airlines) I got to the city muuuuch later than expected, but I still got to take it all in during the short time I was there.

One of my friends I was visiting goes to school in the city, so she had a ton of recommendations on food, drinks, entertainment, and everything in between - all while avoiding the tourist traps.

Recommendations:
Dinner - Yum yum too, an amazing Thai restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen. Drunken noodles was my favorite, and they have happy hour :-)
Coffee -  Bibble & Sip, an alpaca(!!) themed coffee shop that has amazing desserts. Try the lavender latte and earl grey cream puff!
Shopping - Glossier, there’s so few glossier stores and its set up like a gorgeous showroom with all of their products on display for you to try out!
Views - Highline, what was once a central railroad line has been transformed to a chic park on the west side of NYC, It’s a fun place to walk through and take pictures!

Hope you enjoyed some of these recommendations, let me know if you have any of your own!

Cheers,
Anika
